Information about your vacation

We are delighted that you have chosen to stay at Hotel Pension Central *** with Landhaus Central*** and would like to warmly welcome you to the Zillertal. DThe following pages will give you a short overview that will help you find your way around our hotel and our region. We are available for all your questions and requests. You can reach us 24 hrs. a day with your room telephone by dialing the number 9. We are also available in person from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 4:00 pm at our reception desk.

01 General

  • Lost items: If you are missing something, get in touch directly with the reception desk by dialing 9. We will be happy to send you your forgotten item, and you will only be charged for postage.
  • Garage: Our parking garage with a height limit of 2.60 m is available to our guests for free. There are no parking space reservations. If the garage is completely full, we offer plenty of parking in the courtyard.
  • Luggage: If your room isn’t immediately available on your arrival day or if you have already checked out of your room on your departure day, a locked storage room for your luggage is available on the ground floor.
  • Pets: You are allowed to bring your pet only after talking with us and upon payment of a cleaning fee of € 20.- per day, not including food. We also ask that you don’t bring your four-legged friend with you to breakfast. In the summer months, you are welcome to enjoy breakfast with your pet on the terrace.
  • Hotel entrance: Your room key unlocks not only your room but also the hotel entrance door and the ski storage room.
  • Hotel bill: Based on experience, we know that departure days can be quite hectic, so we ask that you pay your hotel bill on the day before your departure. You can pay in cash or with an EC card.
  • Internet: WLAN reception is available throughout the hotel and in the rooms for free. You can get the access code at the reception desk. 
  • Short stay: We ask for your understanding in that we charge a short stay surcharge for stays of 1 or 2 nights. Prices can be found in the price list.
  • Children’s discount: 0 – 2.9 yrs. old -100% 3 – 9.9 yrs. old -40 % 10 – 14.9 yrs. old -30 % With two fully-paying adults in type C & D and with 4 full-paying adults in type A & B.
  • Credit cards: If you pay your bill by credit card, we charge a 1% processing fee.
  • Fires: Our hotel is built according to fire regulations and has an in-house alarm system. If the fire alarm goes off, we ask that you leave the hotel in a calm and orderly manner via marked exits. Remain calm, follow the instructions, and wait for emergency services.
  • Our Quiet hours: We ask that you observe quiet hours in the rooms, on the balconies, and in the hallways starting at 11 pm so as to not disturb other hotel guests who would like to enjoy a quiet, restful night. 
  • Local tax: The local tax is not included in the room price. You can find the exact amount of the tourist tax in our price list. 
  • Sauna information: Let your soul soar in our new sauna facility in the basement with an area of 200 m². If you would like to do something good for your health and well-being, our sauna is available in the winter daily from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. you can privately rent the entire sauna facility. Up to 3 people € 35, 4 or more people € 10 per person. Included in our sauna facility is a Finnish stone oven sauna (90 degrees), an herbal bio sauna (60 degrees), a steam bath (45 degrees), and an infrared cabin. Sauna towels can be found in the entrance area of the sauna.
  • Special sauna infusion: Every Tuesday and Thursday at approx. 17:30 Special sauna infusion with Stefan.
  • Damages: Sometimes things get broken, but this is no problem. We simply ask that you inform us at the reception desk. 
  • Ski passes: In order to spare you unnecessary waiting times at the lift ticket office, you can purchase your ski pass at the reception desk. in the name and on behalf of the IG Zillertaler cable cars.
  • Ski rental: At the reception desk, you will receive a voucher with a 10% discount for skis rented from Sport 2000 Unterlercher.
  • Skiing lessons: We will provide you with recommendations for ski schools in Fügen at the reception desk.
  • Telephone: To call home or make outside calls, contact the reception desk, and they will open up the line for you. Please note that charging begins as soon as you dial! This also applies even if you are unable to connect. Example of how to dial: dial the 0 three times, then dial the country code followed by the area code, and then dial the rest of the number without the 0, for ex.: 000 43 5288 62327
  • Taxi: To order a taxi, simply get in touch with the reception desk by dialing 9 on your room phone.
  • Wake-up call: For your personal wake-up call, get in touch with us at the reception desk by dialing 9 on your room phone.
  • Requests/suggestions: Your opinion is important to us! After your stay, you will receive access to our online guest questionnaire on Holiday Check. We look forward to reading your review and are available anytime to talk with you personally.
  • Washing machine: From now on, our guests have a washing machine, in the ski room of the Landhaus Central, with coin slot available. The coins are available at the reception for € 5 including detergent (max 8 kg per wash).
  • Payment methods: You can pay your bill in cash or with a debit card. If you decide to pay in cash, you will not be charged for WLAN. Payment in cash = FREE WLAN. For payments with a credit card, a 1% processing fee will be charged.
  • Room key: You are welcome to leave your keys with us at the reception desk while you go on an excursion. The room keys also unlock the hotel entrance. 
  • Housekeeping service: We ask for your understanding in that housekeeping service is not available on Sunday, which is a day off for employees. If you do not need housekeeping service, we ask that you inform us at the reception desk or by using your door hanger.

02 Living

  • Apartment: A kitchen is available only in rented apartments. Breakfast is not included in the apartment price. Housekeeping service is available only twice a week in the apartments on Wednesday and Saturday. We ask that you separate trash in the designated bins near the side entrance. We strive to protect the environment so we ask that you separate your trash carefully (glass, paper, cardboard, plastics, aluminum, organic waste, remaining waste). Please leave your apartment as clean as possible.
  • Bed linens: For stays longer than 7 days, bed linens are changed once a week. 
  • Bath and hand towels: The bath towels and towels are changed automatically, with breakfast included, every other day. At apartment every Wednesday and Saturday.
  • Visitors: It is not allowed to bring other guests not staying at the hotel to your room. If friends or acquaintances would like to get to know our hotel better, we will be happy to oblige. If you would like to spend a fun evening with your friends or acquaintances, we would be delighted to welcome them to the guest lounge. Drinks are served starting at ca. 4:00 pm.
  • Bathrobe: You are welcome to rent robes at reception for a small fee - while stocks last. Prices can be found in our price list.
  • TV channel list: To access the list of TV channels, hit the GUIDE button on your remote control.
  • Fires: Our hotel is built according to fire regulations and has an in-house alarm system. If the fire alarm goes off, we ask that you leave the hotel in a calm and orderly manner via marked exits. Remain calm, follow the instructions, and wait for emergency services.
  • Pillows: If you would like a 2nd pillow, simply let us know, and feel free to share all your other requests with us.
  • Radio stations: You have access to radio stations on the TV in your room. You can select the stations with the remote control. To access the list of channels, hit the GUIDE button on your remote control.
  • Non-smoking: We ask for your understanding in that smoking is not allowed in the rooms or in the hotel. You are welcome to smoke on the balconies or outside the entrance, where you will find ashtrays. We ask that you please adhere to the smoking regulations.
  • Reservations: We will gladly reserve a table for you in your desired restaurant in Fügen and the surroundings.

03 Eat & Drink

  • Dinner menu: The dinner menu is not included in the room price and can be booked for an extra fee. Dinner is offered in our partner business Gasthof Aigner from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
  • Allergies: If you have any allergies or food intolerances, please inform us at the reception desk.
  • Breakfast roll delivery service: We will be happy to order your bread from our baker.
  • Breakfast: Our delicious, regional breakfast buffet is available on the ground floor (to the left of the stairs) from 7:30 to 10:00 am.
  • Our guests who have opted for an apartment for self-catering can also enjoy our breakfast buffet for an extra charge - information and prices are available at the reception.

  • Breakfast on arrival day: After a long journey, you can enjoy breakfast on your arrival day for the price of € 8.
  • Hotel bar: Our NEW hotel bar is open daily from approx. 4:00 pm. We look forward to your visit and great discussions about your excursions and hikes.

04 Arrival

  • Arrival and departure: Reserved rooms are available on your arrival day starting at 2:00 pm. If you should arrive earlier, we ask that you let us know in advance. In order to allow the next guest to check in to a clean room at the same time, we ask that you check out by 10:00 am on your departure day. If you would like to use your last day for skiing or hiking, you are welcome to store your luggage with us on the ground floor.

05 On site

  • Pharmacy: The nearest pharmacy is ca. 500 m away. Hauptstraße 65, Tel. +43 5288 638 18
  • Doctors: If you should need a doctor or other emergency medical services, please contact us at the reception desk or by dialing the number 9 on your room phone.
  • Bank – ATM: The nearest bank with an ATM is in the same building as our hotel, and the ATM is installed facing the street.
  • Bus & train connections: In the Zillertal, we have a very good network of public transportation, and you can find all transportation schedules at the reception desk. All those with a ski pass can ride for free on public transportation.
  • CD by the Fügen town band: You can bring the beautiful sounds of the Fügen town band home with you. The CDs are available from Stefan at the reception desk or at the concert.
  • Bike rental and specialist: The nearest bike specialist is Sport 2000 Unterlercher on Hauptstraße 27. Tel: 0043 5288 6 76 72 22
  • Church service: Catholic church: Friday and Saturday 7:30 pm, Sunday 10:00 am, or according to the order of worship.

06 Region

  • Attractions and excursions: We will be happy to give you tips anytime or organize excursions for you at the reception desk.
  • Adventure playground on the mountain: Water playground, kid’s via ferrata, Flying Fox, barefoot path, etc. at the summit station of the Spieljoch lift.

  • Arena fun: Alpine coaster and large adventure playground in Zell am Ziller at the valley station in the Zillertal Arena

  • Mountain guide: As a certified hiking guide in the state of Tyrol, Stefan is available at the reception desk to give you advice.
  • Aufenfeld adventure and recreation park for the kids: Western fort, swimming pond, indoor climbing center, etc. in Aschau.
  • Golf course: The 18-hole golf course in Uderns, which fits magnificently in to the landscape, opened in 2015.
  • Carriage rides: Are you dreaming of a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride in the wonderful nature of the Zillertal? Simply let us know and we will arrange a time for your carriage ride.
  • Concert by the Fügen town band: Every Tuesday in the summer months, the legendary concert by the Fügen town band takes place in the Fügen festival hall at 8:30 pm. The admission ticket is exchangeable for refreshments. (From the end of May to the end of September)
  • Cross-country skiing: There are a variety of cross-country skiing routes in and around the Zillertal.   • Marmot Land: At Gasthof Skihütte on the panoramic road, the “Zillertaler Höhenstraße”, you will find a special kind of petting zoo: Marmot Land, where tame marmots live.
  • Paragliding: Observe the Zillertal from a bird’s-eye perspective in the air. Find out more information about the flight school - Zillertaler Flugschule.

  • Bird trail: Get acquainted with our nature on the bird and nature trail.
  • Birds of Prey show: See the kings of the air up-close. Golden eagles, falcons, eagle owls, etc. on the Eagle’s Stage in Mayrhofen www.mayrhofen.at
  • Zillertalbahn Railway: Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe AG is our public transportation service that will affordably transport you by train or bus through the Zillertal.
  • Zillertal ActivCard: The Zillertal ActivCard is sort of like the summer version of the Zillertal super ski pass. 1 card with access to 11 lifts in summer, buses and train, outdoor pools, swimming lakes, etc. www.zillertal.at
  • Zillertaler Höhenstraße: The Zillertaler Höhenstraße is a panoramic alpine toll road.
