Skiing

The Spieljochbahn takes you from Fügen straight up to our local mountain. Here you’ll find family-friendly slopes and the longest snow-covered run down to the valley in the Zillertal. With the Zillertal Superskipass, you can ski in all the major ski areas in the valley: Hochzillertal-Hochfügen, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, and the Hintertux Glacier. The free ski bus stops right at the hotel.

We’ll issue your ski pass at the front desk, so you can skip the line at the ticket office. Ski rentals are available at Sport 2000 Unterlercher at the Spieljochbahn, with a 10% discount for our guests. In the ski and boot room, each room has its own locker with a ski boot dryer, so you can start every morning with warm, dry boots.

Tobogganing, Cross-Country Skiing & Ice Skating

Tobogganing: There are several toboggan runs around Fügen, such as at the Goglhof or in Hochfügen. On a full moon night, a ride in the moonlight is well worth it.

Cross-country skiing: Challenging trails in Hochfügen, and trails for all skill levels in Gerlos and at Lake Achensee.

Ice skating: From December through February at the ice rink at Therme Zillertal in Fügen, with curling at the natural ice rink in Kleinboden.
